Deep Roots, Strong Branches- The American Abenaki Abenaki people have lived in N’Dakinna (our Homeland) for more than 12,000 years. Abenaki culture is a complex network of people, places, relationships and ceremonies that links the people with the living land. Located in the Museum’s Schoolhouse Gallery, this exhibit presents artwork and stories by the American Abenaki people. The museum is open daily from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Admission is free.

Join Rhonda Besaw for a 3-day workshop to learn how to create a Wabanaki Beaded Purse with a blueberry design. The dates are October 16th, October 26th, and November 2nd, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Attendance at all 3 workshops is mandatory. There is a $100 materials fee, payable to Rhonda Besaw, to attend this workshop.   Registration is required. Space is limited.
